I was watching Next Friday today and no matter how many times I see it, it still cracks me up. Many people like the original Friday the best but as far as I’m concerned Next Friday is easily the funniest one of the 3 (Friday After Next being the other). Craig’s (Ice Cube) new side kick, his spaz cousin Day-Day (Mike Epps), was a hilarious addition to the cast—admittedly I am not a huge fan of Chris Tucker so the loss of him wasn’t a big deal to me. Another great addition is Craig’s sex crazed Uncle Elroy (Don ‘D.C.’ Curry). These two new characters are what really make this movie so much funnier then the original. Craig’s dad (John Witherspoon) is also funnier in this movie then the original. There are so many memorable quotes from this movie and even the bit characters like Pinky, The Joker brothers and, Mrs. Ho-Kym are hilarious. Don’t get me wrong I like the original Friday and Friday After Next has its moments, but for my money Next Friday is the best.

I agree. There’s no question that this is the funniest of the three. In fact, I think this may be one of my favorite comedies. Mad quotables.
