The Green is Chachi’s last mixtape release, although, if you ask me, the only reasons it classifies as a “mixtape” are the slim-line case packaging and its marginal accessibility (mostly available at shows). Featuring all new and original artwork (Monster Decay), production (j.DePina), and rhymes (Chachmiester) that weren’t in circulation until its release, The Green plays through like the best of albums. It’s truly a Rhode Island gem, and, lucky enough for you, Chachi has made it available for free download.
I own two versions of the album — I’m not sure which one this is. So download The Green here for free and let me know if you get 13 or 19 tracks. If the download is the newer version with only 13 tracks, leave a comment below telling me (feel free to tell Chach, too) what you think. If you’re convincing enough, I’ll upload the six missing joints.
Rhode Islander’s, don’t forget to make it out to Rosinhas Restaurant this Friday the 24th for the About Time listening party!
