Invite the fight, we all die tonight.

It’s no mystery that Joe Budden disses all these cats (Jay, Game, Saigon, et al.) for publicity.  Neither is the fact that 99% of his rhymes are spit with stink-lines attached.  Close to nothing from his catalog is worth hearing, and I might drop dead if the new Slaughterhouse album is any type of exception.  That said, I’ve only ever mentioned Joey one other time on TECB, and it was because Ill Poetic remixed his shit-stain of an album (the link’s expired, but I’d re-up if anyone wants it) using samples off the latest Portishead LP.

I usually leave this kind (<—the Joe Budden kind) of dis record alone because they’re mostly half-assed, rushed, poor excuses of a song, released only to prolong the buzz in the public eye (or would it be “ear”?…whatever the fuck), but in the case of this Rebel INS track, “House N*gga,” I’m actually enjoying the attack on Mr. Budden’s impossibly overblown ego.  Give it a listen…

This all started from some Method Man comment that Joey made a few weeks back, by the way.  I’m sure homeboy is loving the attention…and the opportunity to act hard.
