Geah, so, even though most clowns roll through TECB only to peep Tanzanian breasteses, dead wrestlers, and Frieda Pinto in lingerie, I gots some late breaking hip-hop news for that ass.
I’ve been in contact with Mortal — the man behind 401HipHop.com — over the past couple of weeks and we’ve been discussing his new brainchild, Elevation: The Return of the Open Mic. His ideas have been exciting, and, considering how the event has the potential to boost the vibrance of Rhode Island’s hip-hop scene, I’m glad he has asked me to be a part of it. I’ll be down at Firehouse XIII in Providence tomorrow night (Friday, October 2nd) to scope out all the festivities, and plan to write some ill shit (that I’ll be sure to link all you TECB cats up to) about the outcome that will be featured on 401 Hip-Hop.
