In my opinion, “Father Time,” the 1995 single produced by Day, is one of the most overlooked singles from the last fifteen years — it reminds me of Jeru and Preem’s work circa ’94-’96.

  1. this song is so dope. big sauk got on my radar I think from a Rawkus joint? With him and Red? or maybe Im thinking of another dude. But Sauk gets nice with it. His voice appeared on my cross country road trip atleast once. Which prompted this post. Busters!

  2. “wkya” is the name of that redman/saukrates track you’re stinkin’ of — it stands for “we be kickin’ ya ass.” it was on the second lyricist lounge album. glad you like this one, too.
