Blame One’s Days Chasing Days was definitely a stand-out from last year, and I can’t imagine a better time to up this sunny-San Diego hip-hop than during this shitty New England snow storm. Actually, I could — I’d rather be writing this in San Diego…or just be in San Diego telling all this to Verbal face-to-fez and not typing a thing. But, anyway, while I’m stuck here in the snow, I may as well give you all the opportunity to hear my favorite track off Blame’s newest project. Give it a listen:
I thought it was kind of crazy that on an album swamped with production talent (Exile, Black Milk, Oh No, Kan Kick) my favorite track came courtesy of some cat I’ve never even heard of until this point: Rath Khy. I’ll be checking into the name to see if anything else is TECB-worthy, but, until then, make sure to check out this free Blame One mix, Leaks & Gemz, if you haven’t already.
