First off, the new Sharon Jones album, I Learned the Hard Way, is absolutely fantastic. It’s tough to pull one song from the album because I think they’re all stand outs, but here’s one that may edge-out the others by a fraction of awesomeness…
Next is the first leaked track from the upcoming Celph Titled x Buckwild collaboration, Nineteen Ninety Now. I can’t wait to hear if the rest of the album — which features all unreleased vintage Buckwild beats — sounds as grimy as this…
That Dice Raw sample is perfect, as are all the verses (Chino bodies another cut) and the production.
And, lastly, an oldie but goodie:
Cool Breeze is so slept on. Who else is gangsta enough to give a crackhead the “Lemonhead Delight”? Anyway, Soul Food is classic.
Now excuse me while I go get a paper towel.
