When I first heard the new Strong Arm Steady joint, I was almost convinced that, much like Tame One, Phil the Agony had smoked himself to the brink of retardation. If it wasn’t for the fantastic Madlib production, I may have given up on the album and filed it into my collection to be never touched again.
Because I resent having to pay for albums that blow, I gave the LP a few more chances to see if there was any warming-up to be had. Turns out, I actually adapted to Phil’s often-unbalanced rhyme delivery and I now plan to rep this album as one of the best of 2010 (which has already started to be pieced together) at the end of the year.
Anyway, you should know that The Ag hasn’t lost it. Neither have Krondon or Madlib.
Get nice to that. And vibe out with the help of some fine green ingredients.
(Props to anyone who knows what song the title to this post came from.)

i just watched this s yesterday. this is a dumb question but… is all that s real? if so, thats a redonkulous amount of cheeba cheeba.
as far as Ag goes, i think he had a spell there where he was trying a different style, or quite possibly smoked him self retoddid. the track on duck season with ag is too dope. he murders it. then smokes it.
i wouldn’t doubt that it’s all real.
i have some phil the ag bootleg with all his old 12′s, likwit collabs, and freestyles and it’s great.
