Every morning since the earthquake hit Japan late last week, I wake up to horrific scenes on MSNBC, listen to all the talking heads warning us on the left coast about possible radiation and watch as Dems and Right Wingers go at it over their political take on the whole travesty. It’s easy to get side-tracked by our media first, people second world we live in, but the people in Japan need help. Uncommon Records has made an impromptu, compilation pop-up album that will net 100% of the proceeds to “Second Harvest,” a Japanese humanitarian group the heads soup kitchens and pantries and is now aiding in disaster relief. The previously unreleased 14-track, Asian-sound inspired album will only be out for a short while and includes cuts from TECB favorite Karniege, Atari Blitzkrieg, Agartha Audio, Acid Reign, Nasa/Adam Warlock and others from the Uncommon roster. TECB usually promotes shit for “All the Broke Willies” out there with our vast assortment of free downloads, but this time we’re promoting for charity. Hit the link to read up more about the cause and download some Hip-Hop while you’re at it.
