Back in August this duo dropped their first single “Diary of a Dreamer” which I posted here. This is their second cut from their forthcoming self-titled album, which will drop this coming Wednesday, September 28th, on Isolated Wax Records. This single, “Had to Be Me,” enlists indie hip-hop royalty in C-Rayz Walz to set the track off, as well as Brown Bag All-Star Soul Khan. I’m really digging the cuts by the homie DJ Addikt, which gives the song an old school feel without sounding replicated. The track is another banger, as is “Diary of a Dreamer,” which makes me believe the whole album will be dope. Make your own judgment after you click play…
… now leave those judgments in the comment sections, ya dig? Download your own MP3 over at the duo’s Bandcamp and be sure to vote for this track over at the Booth of DJs.
