When I hear the name dan le sac I immediately think of a cul-de-sac. Then I recall what the plural of cul-de-sac is, which is culs-de-sac. Crazy French and their striped shirts and wacky language. Anyway that just speaks to my schizophrenia and has nothing to do with dan le sac and his elctro-funk-crunk-hip-hop sound he creates. This video for “Caretaker,” which comes off of his debut album Space Between the Worlds, depicts a troubled relationship that ends in muuuuuurder (said in an evil, deep voice.) B. Dolan, who provides the lyrics, comes home to find out his daily routine won’t end the way it normally does. And if I’m not mistaken, I believe that is the God Buddy Peace waiting outside of the bar. All us English look a like.
