Always, always, always been a fan of Pace. Even when he dropped that abomination of an album on Detonator. But the desperado slingin’ bottles in the alley on some villain shit wearin’ a mask like Jim Carrey was quick to redeem himself with his work with Mr. Green, the beat maestro from Philly, and I’ve all but forgotten about the aforementioned effort. Mild negativity aside, I’m really feeling this cut. It’s from Pace and Green’s upcoming second LPĀ The Only Number That Matters is Won, due out the first week of September.
After you give the track a listen, feel free to reminisce with us. I’ll be glad to talk “Christmas in Hollis,” Kriss Kross at The Tent, and my plummet into hip-hop obsession upon discovering Wu-Tang Clan.
