The collective known as the Reservoir Sound Womb is part record label and part progressive rap conglomerate. And this album, ALEA IACTA EST, proves their strength in numbers. This is a free release that is meant to show-off the talents of everyone on the Reservoir Sound roster. It doesn’t play like any old record label compilation, it plays like an album that one artist spent quite a lot of time on. But there are about 12 or so different artists that show up on this 18-track album. It features names like A.M. Breakups, Cult Favorite, Warren Britt, billy woods, Eleven, Teddy Faley, DJ Addikt, Jeff Markey, Elucid and tons more. Need more convincing?
