Uptown XO – “Evolution” [VIDEO]

Back-to-back MMG posts for that hip-hop lovin’ ass. Uptown XO and AB the Pro link up on this grimy track. I fools with these dudes. This track is off of the Colour de Grey which you can find at your favorite digital media sales outlet, or hit up the Mello Music Group site for some physicals.

The Black Opera: “Queen of Hearts” f/ Mayer Hawthorne [VIDEO]

Off the album Libretto: of King Legend, the video for “Queen of Hearts.” I’ma break it down like this:

1.) women be shoppin’
2.) Mayer looks way different with that pretty boy peach-fuzz
3.) The Black Opera are hella slept on

Hip-hop journalism at its finest. Verbal Spacey gets jerked at The Source Awards.

Grab that album over at iTunes.

PremRock – “Singapore” [VIDEO]

Way back in November PremRock released a Tom Waits tribute album entitled Mark’s Wild Years. Even though it was released so close to the end of the year, I still thought it was easily one of the best releases of 2012. He just dropped a video for “Singapore” which you can check out above. If you’re not familiar with Prem and/or Tom Waits, check out this fresh interview where we break down each track like Bob Costas breaks down gigantic words that his audience has no idea the meaning of.

Mark’s Wild Years is still free and available here. Get with it. Also shouts to the homies on the cameo tip; Corina Corina, Warren Britt and Jesse Abraham.

Ch@nge & BeeJan – “Me + Weed” and “WWDD” [VIDEOs]

The homie Ch@ng3 hit me off with this video earlier this month and it got buried under e-mails from struggle rappers with DatPiff and Hulkshare links. By keeping it TECB, I waited so long that the duo released a second video. So no time like the present to share “Me + Weed” and “WWDD,” both off of Change and Beejan’s mixtape, Hi on the Couch. You can scoop that up for free (or name your price so they have some weed allowance) over here and peep my words on the matter over here.

Dannu – “On the Left” [VIDEO]

Visionair-extraordinaire Dannu recently dropped this animated-short, based off his track “On the Left” from his solo effort, Virgo Summer. You can scoop up his album at all the digi-outlets, like this one.
