“Flight Confirmation” Alchemist f/ Danny Brown & School Boy Q [VIDEO]

I’m not going to bother putting “NSFW” in any track or video featuring Danny Brown. If by now you don’t know he will talk about cunnilingus at least once in his songs, you’ll never learn and you’ll get fired for sexual harassment because you’re playing rap videos at work that show boobies superimposed on a broasted chicken (“What’s superimposed?” Peace to Adam Sandler.) I posted this song when it came out last month and I had since forgotten it, along with my WordPress password. I didn’t forget about it because it isn’t nice, it may be one of my favorite Alchemist beats to date (that’s a bold statement and I’ve been drinking . . . Witch Hazel), it’s just I’ve been preoccupied with unemployment rehab, better known as a “job.” I think it’s pronounced ‘yah-b.’ Anyway, it appears I didn’t forget how to use run on sentences and getting off topic. Alas.
Let us know what you think and also, let us know what your favorite Chemistry beat is. I’ve done a full 180 on him since his days of making dark and stormy tracks for Mobb Deep. Those were always pretty fresh, just never wowed me. But thankfully I’ve copped every Gangrene project and have yet to be disappointed. Russian Roulette is out now. I’ll be purchasing, soon as I get my stomach pumped.

Gangrene — Odditorium EP

As far as hip-hip releases go, it’s been pretty slow in 2012. Vodka & Ayahuasca is undoubtedly the best to hit stores, and I honestly can’t picture anyone out-doing the sophomore effort from dirt-dogs Alchemist and Oh No, the producer x emcee combo known collectively as Gangrene. If they were to be outdone, it could only be done by their own hand. Turns out, last week the duo released Odditorium EP, a limited edition vinyl picture disc, for Record Store Day (I did’t see it anywhere), and the top-notch quality of the project’s sound is definitely on the same level as their full-length from the beginning of the year.

Yes. Gangrene is on their gladiator shit, and, lucky enough for you, the EP isn’t exclusive to folks who favor forty-five rotations per minute. Get the download over here, grow some wings, and come back through TECB to boost my already inflated blogging ego with praise.
