Demigodz – “Dead in the Middle” [VIDEO]

New video from the Demigodz, this track featuring Ryu, Celph Titled and Apathy. Ap also produced this track which includes one of Big Pun’s most famous lines on loop. I’ve never been a fan of Ryu but this is easily the toughest verses he’s ever laid down. That said I’ve only heard him on Celph’s records and AOTP joints. And once when a co-worker brought me to a sales meeting and he had some sort of Styles of Beyond album cranked to 11. I wasn’t pleased that day. In any event, this video sparks some chatter and buzz over the Demigodz forthcoming album, Killmatic. Available for preorder here if you’re down.

Off the books. And off the meter. j.Depina x Beatnuts.

There’s so much I like about this remix.  Honestly, so much that I’m refraining from the surplus of adjectives that, if I were to elaborate, would only make you think I’m a candy-ass geek.  And that just ain’t the case.  This is what you need to know:

If your career is on life support, seek out a j.DePina remix.

That is easily the best remix I’ve heard in a while.  Especially considering the original production, supplied by Les & JuJu, was so nice that no one has ever really bothered putting forth the effort.

*For the record:  Before anyone misinterprets, the “career on life support” line isn’t a shot at The Beatnuts.  Don’t believe me?  Then you probably like midnight snacks of chinuts.

Super absorbency. For heavy droppings. Nast.

The other day I somehow received a trial package of two Depends in the mail (get yours here!!!).  When I opened the package I stared at the diapers in confusion; rightfully so, too, seeing as I’m only twenty-six and haven’t crapped my pants in years.  I figured it was some sort of prank by one of my friends, but it turned out that no one had a clue.  Apparently the Kimberly-Clark company…

…seems to think I’ll be needing them.

Anyway, after Verbal confessed to one of my posts giving him a leaky bumb-bumb damn (Snow spits fire), I figured it was a good time to share my story, tell the TECB-readers of our laxative qualities, and nonsensically upload some hip-hop music.

(I remember using the KRS line “I represent peace and knowledge but I will contradict that” for some assignment in college.  What a geek.)
