There’s yet to be a negative word on Evidence’s Cats and Dogs and rightfully so. Here’s the latest from the Rhymesayer, the video for “Falling Down.” Ev reps California harder than most.
We’ve posted a lot about Evidence’s second solo album, Cats & Dogs, but his Dilated counterpart also has a solo effort circulating that’s been out since July of last summer. Here’s the video for the title track with the aid of Aloe Blacc. It’s always a pleasure to post work from guys I’ve grew up listening to and it’s an easy task when they continue to produce good music.
Cop Crown of Thorns on Decon Records and Cats and Dogs on Rhymesayers Entertainment, and stay tuned for more info on their next Dilated album as news comes out, as well as DJ Babu’s Duck Season 4, both possibly out in 2012.
Fash and Ev trolling Venice Beach handing out burned CDs is the most g shit ever. And Babu in the beginning sonning them before they leave is hilarious. This video made me get off my ass and hit Long Beach’s equivalent to Venice Beach. I’ll be returning with sun burns and sweat stains.
Cats and Dogs on Rhymesayers Entertainment will drop September 27th.
