Remember when I gave you multiple reasons to buy Ev’s new album? Probably not, but that’s the advantage of dropping links like Nick Manning drops loads.
That said, this is the latest off of Cats & Dogs — “The Liner Notes.” It’s a great song, and the title allows me to tell this little story…
I have a family that enjoys music. Some of the fam still buys physical copies, and, even more so, cherishes the old formats still in their possession. When I asked an unnamed family member the difference of LP’s to MP3′s, the response I received was this:
“You can’t roll a doobie on an MP3.”
Yup. You certainly cannot. God bless my family. And God bless music and all of its physical formats.
Liner notes for life. Fuck digital. Fuck you if you don’t agree. (A little harsh, but I’m cool with that. Come at me, bro hondo!)
