Hell Razah – “Come and See Me” featuring Kool G. Rap, Atari Blitzkrieg, C-Rayz Walz

This track is off of Hell Razah’s Soundcloud. Both the tweet that led me there and the info written on the page leave much to be desired. All I know for sure is that KGR is still amazing, and I think Atari Blitzkrieg is on the track too, Sean Price’s verse is like 5 seconds long, and C-Rayz verse is like 5 minutes long. Oh and Krohme did the beat which keeps the Godsendant Music theme of the night going. Lack of info aside, the song is tough. Krohme is nice with it and I’ll fucks with anything that has Kool G. Rap and Sean Price on it. But let me know what you think of it:

“Return Of The Renaissance” – Hell Razah f/ R.A. the Rugged Man

In the Spring of 2010 we learned that Hell Razah had a health scare and he was in the hospital. But, other than that, there were conflicting reports on what he was actually dealing with and all of the details were murky. The Twitter-verse had artists from all over telling him to get well soon and his label had some fund-raising activities for Razah and his family.

Fast forward to October 2011 and he’s back to making music videos from his album, Heaven Razah, and, as he states in the intro to this video, Hell Razah had emergency brain surgery and almost died. He looks a little different these days but I can speak for everyone and say that we’re all happy he’s making enormous strides in his recovery and that he’s back making music with R.A. the Rugged man and his crazy ass. The fact that he’s well enough to help R.A. jam fliers down the gullet of unsuspecting herbs means Hell Razah is back.

“More wine! White girls, 15 year old white girls, more wine!” – R.A. the Rugged Man (NSFW or moms)

We’ve all been through the epic web of woven YouTube videos. You start off looking for a local news story that someone texts you about and then out of nowhere, boom, looking up Fat Boys videos. It happens to the best of us. There’s no rhyme or reason behind it. Something will trigger a neuron in your brain and make you inexplicably search for a video about moths in the greater Tuscon area. However, on many YouTube spills I’ve stumbled over this tasty treat courtesy of R.A. The Rugged Man.

“Posse Cut” is off of R.A. the Rugged Man’s Legendary Classics Vol. 1, and includes Hell Razah, JoJo Pellegrino, Remedy, and Blaq Poet. Only R.A. can get away with a classics album after only one studio album of his own. The song in itself is pretty dope, as I’m always down for a gully posse cut to listen to. But whenever R.A. the Rugged gets involved in making a music video, his bat-shit crazy genius spills out.

This video has it all: breaking & entering; duct taping small children; sexual assault; and a make shift house party to boot. My favorite part is when Blaq Poet enters and shows off his gat. Far and away the largest gun to ever appear in a rap video. Also him sticking up the other guests for their wallets and jewelry and, subsequently, the couch, is priceless. Give this throwback a play. It’ll be sure to brighten your evening.

p.s.

Probably not safe for work or children or moms and all that.
