Blu + R.A. the Rugged Man + Tristate – “Thelonius King” [VIDEO]

A new video from music video direction extraordinaire, Nicholas Heller, this time around no shirtless Juan Deuce though. Joining Heller on the other side of the camera is an interesting grouping of Blu, R.A. the Rugged, and Tristate, a dude I was fortunate to see perform with Planet Asia last year. The music is pumped in via production from Bombay. Be on the lookout for a 7″ of this track, due out in time for this year’s Record Store Day. A National Holiday in the eyes of Chris and myself.

Jesse Abraham – “I Ain’t Shit – I’m The Shit” [VIDEO]

The big homie Jesse Abraham has a new album coming out, I am Water, and to get everyone in the giving mood, he’s released a video and MP3 of “I Ain’t Shit – I’m The Shit.” He was able to have some helping hands for this track, !llmind produced it while Ricky Shabazz, AND the Boom Bap Boys, directed the video. He also called in some favors and got Bam-Bam Bigelow to wrestle his twin brother. Kidding.

Shouts to the local (New England) cameos up in this vid; I see DJ Emoh Betta, Esh, Juan Deuce and Falside. Am I missing anyone?

I am Water will be out this fall and proceeds will be going to Charity: Water. Hit the link if you want to donate directly before the album comes out. The dudes over at Uncommon Records used Charity: Water for their Save the Horn project. Dope concept, you get music and people in developing areas get clean water. Word.

Grab your own copy of this song at Jesse’s Bandcamp, here.

“GUTS” by Juan Deuce & Falside

The Mechanics EP finally has a release date (11/22) and to celebrate we also have a new video from Juan Deuce, Falside, and Ricky Shabazz. Nicholas Heller, aka Ricky Shabazz, sent this video over to music video director extraordinaire, Rik Cordeiro, who now has webisodes that present different artists videos every week. Hopefully having Three-21 media behind it, this video will get the exposure that Juan and Fal deserve.

By the way, if you haven’t hit play yet, warn people in eye shot of your computer screen that stabbings and drug use will be prevalent and it’s nothing like the Nickelodeon show of the same name. Just another day for the video making trio of Heller, Juan, and Falside.

Falside x Ricky Shabazz Preview for Snare Conditioning

The only reason I blog is to get the horse shit that Verbal posts off the top of our home page.

Stay on the lookout for Fal’s new beat tape, Snare Conditioning, set to drop in August for free download.  And if you still enjoy buying music in non-digital formats, you should be pleased to know that one-hundred copies of Falside’s Snare Conditioning will be printed to cassette.

Fall, Stand the F*ck Up.

If I take time off from TECB, there’s always a slew of Falside material waiting for me in my inbox.  This kid releases more material thank Mrs. Wayans releases children from her uterus.  I may have used that analogy before, but, please, kindly remove yourself from my weenis and let me quote Don’t Be a Menace as much as I want.  Unless, of course, you’re female, of legal age, disease-free, and somewhat attractive…then I’ll stop…and you can continue whatever it is you were doing down there.

Ahh, yes, with that said — and with the five of seven of my readers now creeped out — let’s get down to brass tax before my company arrives and my body is still unshowered, mustache not combed, and entire outfit isn’t ironed to an obsessive perfection.

The above Falside video, “Drugs,” directed by Nicholas Heller, came out a couple of weeks back and has been catching love all over the internet.  I like it because it serves as a nice reminder of why I don’t do drugs anymore.  The song is featured on Fal’s new beat tape Fall, Stand the F*ck Up.  Many of the tape’s highlights were featured on the “Halloween Mix” of his that I posted, but that’s no reason to not go and download the tape in its entirety over at DJ Booth’s apparently much-respected website.  I mean, when people be dancing like this to that shit, you know the rest of it is going to be serious.
