Aesop Rock — “Zero Dark Thirty” [VIDEO]

This is how I make a return to blogging and write a number of posts lacking in substance for the sake of catching-up with what I’ve let fall by the wayside.

If you’re looking for all of the particulars and a free mp3 to download, jump your stink ass into the DeLorean, hit 88 miles per hour, and set the clock for April 13, 2012.

Aesop Rock — “Zero Dark Thirty”

I’m kind of a fair weather fan of Aesop Rock. Actually, maybe I’m not so much of a fair weather fan, but more along the lines of fan who’s on the fence with a portion of the discography.  Dude’s verse on “Put Your Quarter Up,” however, is practically enough for me to be easy on the selections of his catalog I don’t agree with.

Anyway, I’m here to speak briefly on the positives. This right here…

…is the lead-off single from Skelethon (dope album title, right?), Aes’s debut solo effort on Rhymesayers Entertainment. For those of you I was with chilling with at closing time last night, this is it — the song I spoke of.

Listen. Enjoy. Download if you please.
